Frequently Asked Questions
Why are my readings different each time?
Blood pressure naturally changes throughout the day — that's normal. For consistent results: measure at the same time each day, sit quietly for 5 minutes first, keep both feet flat on the floor, rest your arm at heart level, and avoid caffeine or exercise for 30 minutes beforehand. Taking 2–3 readings a minute apart and averaging them gives the most reliable picture.
Should I measure on my left arm or right arm?
Either arm works. The left arm is most commonly used and is what most clinical references assume. What matters most is consistency — always use the same arm, so your trend over time is comparable. If your doctor has told you to use a specific arm, follow their advice.
What should I do if an error code appears?
Most errors come from cuff position or movement. Check that the cuff is snug (two fingers should just fit underneath), sit still without talking, and keep your arm relaxed. Then rest for 5 minutes and measure again. If the same error keeps appearing, email us at support@airoplehome.com with the error code — we'll sort it out.
How do I view or delete my measurement history?
The monitor keeps your most recent readings on the device, and the Airople app stores your full history in your account. In the app, open the History tab to browse every measurement; swipe left on a record to delete it (deleted records go to the recycle bin first, so you can restore them).
How do I switch between users?
The monitor itself tracks one user's readings at a time. For families, we recommend each person signs in to the Airople app with their own account — the app keeps every family member's history, trends and reports fully separate, and you can switch accounts in seconds from the My page.
How often does the monitor need to be calibrated?
Under normal home use, we recommend a calibration check every two years — conveniently, that matches your replacement protection window. If the monitor has been dropped or readings suddenly look very different from your usual pattern, contact us and we'll help you verify it.
How do I clean the cuff?
Wipe the cuff gently with a soft cloth slightly dampened with water or mild soapy water, then air-dry it completely before use. Never machine-wash, immerse in water, or iron the cuff, and keep the main unit away from liquids entirely.
